Additional Cleaning Time Policy

At Nelson Maid, our mission is to provide top-quality cleaning services that exceed your expectations. To enhance transparency and ensure a smooth experience, we have updated our policy regarding additional cleaning time.

  • Hourly Rate for Extra Time: If your cleaning service requires more time than the estimated hours listed, any additional cleaning hours will be billed at an hourly rate of $50.

  • Consultation Before Extra Time: Our cleaners will discuss cleaning options with you before adding any additional time to your service. We will not proceed with extra cleaning time unless you give your consent.

  • Estimate-Based Pricing: The price you receive at booking is based on the estimated cleaning time for a home in standard condition.  Homes that need additional care may take more time.

  • Payment Processing: We do not accept cash for any services. Our cleaners can only accept cash tips.  Your card will be charged for the full amount, including any additional time, once the cleaning is complete.

  • Recommendation for Deep Cleaning: If it has been more than 90 days since your home was last cleaned, we recommend upgrading to a Deep Clean for the best results.

These terms are designed to ensure clarity and fairness, allowing us to maintain high service standards and keep your home sparkling clean.

Need To Reschedule?

We understand that schedules may change.  Rescheduling your clean is simple and easy.  All you need to do is go to our client portal HERE.  We ask that you give us at least 24 hours notice if you need to reschedule.  Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment will result in up to a 50% cancellation charge.
